40 years ago today I received my first amateur radio license. Since then I have met many nice people around the world. Ok – there were also some morrons involved. But everybody knows that 😉
The examn took place at the head post office in Münster. But because Osnabrück was part of the Bremen Post Office, I had to wait another month until I finally received the desired letter with the license.
My first radio was a ship radio with crystals for the local repeater (DB0ZO) and the channel S20, 145.500 MHz.
